When your enemy pours peroxide down your throat, do you swallow it down and die or do you allow yourself to vomit? The more peroxide you swallow, the more ill you become. It soon kills you. If it does not, you are doomed to vomit all the more and have dysentery 10-fold what you would have if you had only let loose from the start. While it is humiliating to vomit before others and while it is perhaps what your enemy had wanted all along, you can at least do yourself a decency and prevent death and further humiliation.
